Post-Farm Food Safety Program

The Post-Farm Food Safety Program provides up to $20,000 in funding to BC food and beverage manufacturing facilities, leading toward the implementation of food safety activities.

The funding assists you in improving food safety standards, providing training, implementing food safety programs, upgrading facilities and purchasing equipment and working towards food safety certifications. The opportunities are endless!

The program is administered by Food Processing Skills Canada (FPSC) and funded through Canada Agricultural Partnership (CAP), a federal-provincial-territorial initiative.

Environmental Farm Plan Program

There is an important change coming to the Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) Program this spring. Starting April 2022, farmers do not require BC Assessment “farm status” to participate in the EFP program. Farm status is still one of the requirements to participate in the BMP funding program.

The EFP Program is delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation.  For more program details and to get started with the EFP process you can call 250-940-6150 or visit the program's website.
